Forum: movies Subject: Uploaded vidclip using CCPub, but not in "my uploads"

I uploaded this video using CCPublisher for Mac OS X.

http://www.archive.org/details/BouncyBall

But now, when I look to see whether or not the video is associated with my account, I see that it is not. I uploaded with the attribution bit on, but it's going to be pretty darned hard for someone to give attribution if they don't know from whom whence the video came...

Thanks for any help,
Andre

never mind -- this turns out to have been pebcak. I did not understand the interface for querying what videos you've uploaded.

Cheers,
Andre

hey,
glad to hear things sound like they resolved themselves.

but FYI -- "pebcak" -- AFAIK, FWIW, i don't know what that means JSYK, JICYWW.

Another fun one:

if cluelessness is occurring and you want to talk about it discreetly, mention error "one dee ten tee". Write it down and you'll see that it's code language for "1D10T" :-).

BTW, keep up the great work -- you guys turn around this video so fast it makes every one else in the space look silly, including Google. 9 hours vs. almost 4 days to look at a 30 second clip. Silly!

Cheers,
Andre

tee hee, thanks for the new acronym, 10-4.

just *wait* until you see the new system
(hoping august, sept at latest).

it can go live w/i minutes after the final file is uploaded via FTP, woot!
